Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to get started?

The Klinic membership is meant to be easy and accessible. To sign up, you need a smartphone or computer you can use for virtual visits and a debit or credit card to pay for your flat, monthly membership fee. This covers everything you need to get started with the latest, most effective addiction and mental health treatment.

What happens after I sign up?
First, you take a breath of relief, because you are no longer alone in your recovery. You have a virtual care team dedicated to supporting your sobriety! Use our easy online scheduler to set your first appointment.
What happens if I forget when my upcoming appointment is?
Don’t worry. Our 24/7 care coordinator will remind you of appointments and provide you
What information do you need before my appointment?
Prior to the appointment, you’ll supply a treatment history and describe how you’re doing right now. Then, before your appointment, an experienced addiction physician will use your intake information to meet you where you are and develop a customized therapeutic support plan for you.
What happens at my first appointment?
You’ll meet your treatment provider, a doctor or NP with specialized expertise in addiction recovery. During this initial appointment, the physician will discuss your eligibility for medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for alcohol addiction or opioid dependency.
What does my ongoing treatment look like?
Medication-assisted treatment must be monitored by a physician. Luckily, our online recovery platform makes it easy to attend necessary doctor appointments from your phone without taking you away from regular life.

In follow-up appointments, your physician will assess how the medication is working for you. We monitor any barriers or challenges that are hampering your recovery and help you get past them.

Does medication-assisted treatment (MAT) work?
MAT is the gold standard of treatment and shown to be 6 times more effective than traditional rehab. Our platform makes MAT easy. You can receive same-day prescriptions, and go about your normal daily life while recovering with the support of this evidence-based treatment.
Will I need medication-assisted treatment forever?
As you progress through treatment, your physician will work with you to slowly taper your dose, when appropriate. Our goal is to educate and guide you on the taper process, and we will never rush it. Slow and steady supports your sobriety. Tapering is always customized for you and your recovery journey.
How can peer support groups help me?
Addiction can be very isolating. Peer support has long been a staple of the recovery community, helping normalize addiction and giving the newly recovered hope for long-term sobriety.
